The Role:
You will be working in a sales role, meaning there are targets to be hit, and when the targets are hit there is money to be earnt. Recruitment is fast-paced, and you will need to have resilience to succeed. Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include:
Business Development – Cold calling potential new business, selling your services, and powering through the rejection.
Candidate Sourcing – Headhunting on LinkedIn, creating job adverts, screening referrals, and building your network.
Relationship Building – Trust is crucial in Recruitment. You need your clients to trust you in finding the perfect employee, and you need your candidate to trust you in finding their perfect role.
Selling – You need to persuade your clients and candidates that you are the best recruiter to work with (especially against your competitors). You will also need to sell your candidates profile to your client, as they will want to know why they should dedicate their time interviewing.
Hitting targets – KPIs will be set. If you want to progress through the business, earn commission and benefit from incentives, you need to be hitting (and exceeding) your targets.
