What is the role?
This is a sales recruitment role not a career directly within renewable energy. We source and recruit leading professionals from the renewable energy sector and place them in new roles (where you earn commission!)
The role involves winning on new clients through cold calling and business development, you will be building and maintaining relationships with clients and supporting their hiring requirements.
You will be sourcing the top 1% of talent within your specialist sector, by writing and uploading job adverts, headhunting, outreach on LinkedIn and approaching candidates directly.
During your day to day, you will be cold calling clients, sourcing candidates, securing and booking interviews, getting feedback, supporting and preparing your candidates, agreeing fees, negotiating salaries, negotiating terms and placing candidates in your clients roles.
Requirements:
6-12 months sales / commercial experience (ideally someone who has worked in a career for a year after graduating and is looking for a better opportunity or someone who has had a year in industry etc.)
*ideally* 2:1 or above from a top 40 university (not a necessity)
Competitive – ideally played sport to a high level or be naturally resilient and driven by winning.
Strong communication skills, you MUST be confident over the phone and in person. Building relationships is a key aspect of this role and you must have strong interpersonal skills to build good rapport.
Resilient, recruitment is a challenging career and you’’ face rejection so must be able to bounce back.
Financially motivated – this is a commission-based role and if you’re not driven by money and maximising your earnings you will struggle!
