Hastie is a Principal Consultant at 27 Talent. After university Hastie started her sales career in estate agency before making the transition into recruitment in 2016. Hastie was the company’s top biller and after a successful two years decided to hit the pause button on her recruitment career and travel the world. Over the three years that Hastie was away she travelled Asia, lived in Australia, and also hopped across Europe before returning to London and recruitment in July 2021.

Favourite thing about working in recruitment
Honestly as simple as it sounds, providing a good service to both our candidates and clients. I enjoy being able to truly guide candidates throughout the process. It’s always interesting hearing about different people’s backgrounds & interests, and of course then there is the problem-solving aspect of the job. Once you’ve understood your candidate it’s up to you to understand where they will be best suited and equally which firms will like them! And of course, I enjoy getting to work with an amazing team!
