Meet The Team
Jai is a creative and persistent individual with an entrepreneurial spirit. As a final year business student at Newcastle University, Jai has thrown himself into many opportunities - partaking in pitch competitions, a marketing consultancy project and securing internships at the university marketing department. Jai also has a knack for creating his own opportunities - proven by the success he has achieved throughout his hobbies. While at university, Jai started releasing music on Spotify and created his digital record label "Opollo 888 Records". Jai managed to build his music brand to over 25,000 monthly listeners, releasing 24 singles in 24 months - with his most popular track reaching 400,000 Spotify streams. This also pushed him to find clients to engineer for - advancing his lead generation skills and sparking an interest in the world of sales and recruitment. Jai joined 27 Talent in 2023, hoping to gain a further insight into a career in recruitment while simultaneously gaining additional experience. Currently, Jai focuses on educating incoming graduates on opportunities in recruitment, while offering support to those who are eager to find their role in the industry.

Why I joined 27 Talent
I wanted to find a role that would allow myself to build more experience generating leads and managing client relations. Recruitment had been calling my name for a while and it was time to throw myself into a new challenge. I originally was contacted by Brooke with the intention of being placed in a recruitment role after graduation - however this quickly turned into the opportunity to gain relevant experience now. Brooke and Callum's enthusiasm for the student ambassador program was contagious and it wasn't long before I made the decision to join.
