Graduate Recruitment Consultant Training Programme
You will be trained by a dedicated Learning and Development Manager and have a bespoke training plan tailored to you and your learning style. No experience is required – you will be taught everything you need to know.
The career progression is meritocratic and extremely clear. Most graduates achieve their first promotion and pay rise within the first six months. The career ladder supports consultants to progress from a Trainee to a Director within 5 years.
On Target Earnings (OTE) Year 1: £48,000; Year 2 £70,000; Year 3 £100,000+)
Your role as a Graduate Recruitment Consultant is to build relationships with new and existing clients. You will be cold and warm calling, meeting with prospects, understanding their business/hiring needs/strategy, negotiating terms of business with them, and building long-term partnerships with them to help them recruit and retain staff.
You will consistently be networking with legal professionals and building a pool of strong candidates to introduce to your clients. You will generate your candidates through advertising, asking people in your network for referrals, headhunting from other firms and attending networking events.
It is your role to be the middle person between clients and candidates, ensuring an excellent and consultative approach is given to both parties, whilst closing sales and generating revenue for your business.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for hard-working, competitive, and social individuals who are career driven. You will need to fulfil at least two of the following criteria:
A Levels (A* - B grades) and 2:1 degree or above from a Top 40 UK University
A track record of working hard (e.g. worked alongside studies, competed in sports teams, achieved strong academics)
Highly results driven
Confident, strong communicator and personable
Package
Starting basic salary £26,000 + uncapped commission (basic salary increases with each promotion)
On Target Earnings (OTE) Year 1: £48,000; Year 2 £70,000; Year 3 £100,000+)
Opportunity to relocate to Dubai or New York after 12 month training period.
